Ice cream for breakfast?

Why not!

I usually freeze bananas in chunks when they start to brown (if I don’t make banana bread out of them), because wasting food is bad.. And because ice cream is good! And, of course, this can be modified ’til eternity.

White chocolate banana berry ice cream

About 1 bananas worth of frozen chunks

Frozen blueberries, about an equal amount as banana

1 pitted medjoul date

1 tbsp home made almond butter

Almond milk, about 1 dl or 1/2 – 1/3 of a cup

pure vanilla extract (ground vanilla pods/seeds)

2 tbsp raw vegan protein powder (vanilla)

1 tbsp cocoa butter (grated)

-> food processor!

Top with raw cacao nibs, shredded coconut, and golden flax seeds. Go to heaven.

 

Caramel banana blueberry ice cream

1 frozen banana

Little bit more blueberries than banana

1.5 tbsp Maca powder

1 tbsp home made almond butter (I used vanilla/coconut flavored)

2 pitted dates

about 1/4 cup vanilla soy yoghurt

-> food processor, scoop into a tall glass and top with goji berries, chopped cashews, shredded coconut, granola, what have you!
